Forty year old Freddie Oli and his longtime buddy, thirty-five year old, Barron Isaac, worked in the IT business together for years. Award-winning author G.A. Hauser was born in Fair Lawn, New Jersey, USA and attended university in New York City. She moved to Seattle, Washington where she worked as a patrol officer with the Seattle Police Department. A book which contains true depth

I'm not surprised to see one reviewer call this writer the ‘queen’ of the genre. As an avid reader, I see often the cliché arc and superficial plots, in a category which has become a slush pile that spans all levels of intellect. Few authors ever delve as deeply into the personal and mental aspects of their characters as this author has. We see three men, each in different places in their lives, and dealing with what we all deal with, fear, loneliness and the challenge of finding the ideal ‘someone’ to love. As each layer of these men begins to unfold, I find them unique and interesting in their personal quest for happiness. During the holidays, in particular, this is amplified for many individuals. This writer goes beneath the cliché plots that are so commonplace, and allows the reader to begin to comprehend their personal growth. It’s refreshing to read something more cerebral in a mass market which may have lost the sense of meaning in a novel. This book, Along Comes a Man was inspiring and deeper than the usual bland "over-used" themes. A worthy look for the more discerning palate.

Along came a man

So wish I could give this book more than 5 stars!!! G.A. has all the emotions one could have right here in this book. And again I wish she would stop ending these books! Drives me batty waiting for the next ones.
Like everything she does her heart is in each book but this one is a little bit more of it.

GA Hauser writes a brilliant book of menage among three mature men

GA Hauser, the Queen of the M/M erotic romance genre, has written another fabulous love story which is a potential manage in a very different setting. Freddie Oli, 40 years old and Barron Issac, 35 years old, were computer geeks working IT for a company which was bought by another company, costing them their jobs. They were both gay, and very good friends, with no sexual attraction between them. They decided to take their careers in a different direction and formed a partnership in a landscaping business which was growing exponentially due to their excellent work and reasonable prices. The fact that both of them were exceptionally good looking and were working jobs for housewives also helped grow their business. Since there was too much work for the two of them, they hired an ex-marine, Dirk Jameson, age 28 who was also gay and only interested in men older than himself. Once all three realized that they were all gay, Dirk started to entice Freddie and Barron into a sexual threesome. Freddie, who had been heartbroken when his sexual partner of five years left him for another guy, has put up mental barriers against any kind of sexual relationships other than one night pick ups. Dirk also had his heart broken when his sexual partner in the marines turned out to be straight and married, leaving him heart broken as well. So, with a lot of mental baggage carried by Freddie and Dirk, as well as Barron feeling inferior to the other two, getting a manage together was an arduous task. GA has brought this complex situation to us, filled with quite a bit of mental angst but also with some stunning and stimulating sex. This book, like most of her others, is a compelling read and should not be missed. Buy it, read it and enjoy several hours of pleasure from it.
